Hurt in a crash? Talk to us before the insurer

Fill in four lines. A lawyer from the office nearest you reads it and calls you back. The first call is free and you're under no obligation.

  • Hospital and home visits
  • Call or text

Don't send medical records or details of the crash here. Your name and a way to reach you are enough to start.

Current matter

Airbag recall: is your car on the list?

Some airbag inflators can rupture when they deploy and throw metal into the cabin. If you or someone in your family was hurt when an airbag went off, send us the car's year, make and model. Harlan Stuckey's team checks it against the recall lists and calls you back.

Pick the airbag option on the form above, or send the car's year, make and model from the contact page.

What we take on

Four kinds of injury, worked every day

Each office takes all four. If yours is something else, ask; if it isn't ours, we'll say so and tell you who to call.

  • Red and white light trails on a busy freeway at dusk, seen through a chain-link fence

    Hurt in a car crash

Rear-ended at a light, hit at an intersection, sideswiped on the interstate. We deal with both insurers so you don't have to.

    About car crashes
  • An orange semi-truck and a silver sedan side by side on a highway at dusk

    Hit by a truck

A semi or a delivery van has a company behind it, and that company keeps logs. We ask for them before they're gone.

    About truck crashes
  • Three cyclists in helmets ride road bikes in a line along a city street

    Hit on a bike

Hit by a car, a door or a pothole the city knew about. Riders get blamed first; we start with the facts.

    About bicycle crashes
  • A carer walks beside an older woman using a walker along a bright corridor

    Harmed in a nursing home

A fall nobody explained, a bedsore that wasn't treated, a parent who stopped eating. We find out what the chart says.

The fee

Our fee comes out of what we recover

No retainer and no hourly bill. The fee is a share of the recovery, and the share is written into your agreement before we start.

  • Nothing up front

No retainer and no hourly bill. A lawyer is on your file from the first call, and we deal with every insurer.

  • A share of the recovery

Our fee is a percentage of what we recover. Your agreement names it before we start, and says when it changes if the case has to be filed in court.

  • Costs, kept apart from the fee

Filing fees, records and experts are costs. We advance them and they are repaid from the recovery. If there is no recovery, you owe no fee and no costs.

Offices

Three doors, one phone call apart

Come in, or we come to you: home, hospital or rehab. Every office reaches the other two's files.

Quick answers

Before you call, people ask

What does it cost to talk to you?

Nothing. The first call is free, and so is a meeting. You only pay a fee if we take the case and recover money for you.

The insurer already called me. Should I give a statement?

Not before you talk to a lawyer. You can say you'll call back, take their name and claim number, and stop there.

Which office handles my case?

Usually the one nearest where you live or where you were hurt. All three share one file system, so it doesn't matter which you call first.

I can't get to an office. Now what?

We come to you: at home, in the hospital or at a rehab center. Much of the work after that happens by phone and email.

How long do I have to bring a claim?

There are deadlines, and they can be short, especially against a city, county or state. Call soon so we can tell you which one applies.
