FAQ
Straight answers about injury claims
If your question isn't here, ask it on the first call. It's free.
Starting
What does the first call cost?
Nothing. Talking to us is free, and there's no obligation to hire us afterward.
What should I have ready?
Whatever you have: the crash report number, insurance cards, photos and hospital papers. If you have none of it, call anyway.
How soon should I call?
As soon as you're able. Evidence like camera footage and truck data can disappear within days, and legal deadlines apply.
Fees
How do you get paid?
From a share of what we recover, set in writing before we start. If there's no recovery, there's no fee.
What are case costs?
Money spent on the case itself: filing fees, records, experts. We advance them and they're repaid from the recovery. If there's no recovery, you don't repay them.
Will I get a bill in the mail?
No. You won't pay anything out of pocket while the case is open.
The claim
Should I talk to the other driver's insurer?
Not before you talk to a lawyer. Take their name and claim number, say you'll call back, and stop there.
Will my case go to trial?
Most don't. Most claims settle. If yours needs to be filed, we explain why and what that means before anything happens.
What is my case worth?
Nobody can say honestly on the first call. It depends on the injury, the treatment, the lost work and the insurance available. We'll tell you once we know.
